DocuSeer is a bot for Slack powered by ChatGPT that allows you to “talk” to any internal document.
The DocuSeer platform can be accessed at this link.
Once you sign up with DoucSeer our implementation team will work with you to get all relevant documents uploaded to the platform.
Next your IT team will initiate an org-wide installation of the DocuSeer bot for Slack so it will be accessible for all employees. You can find instructions for how to install DocuSeer to your Slack workspace below. This can also be accomplished by clicking the “Add to Slack” button on the Company tab within the platform.
Create an account with DocuSeer using the same email that you use as the Administrator in Slack,
Go to the “Company” tab on the left-hand site navigator,
Select the “Add to Slack” button with the Slack logo at the bottom of the page,
In the upper right corner, click the dropdown and select your Company’s Slack workspace and select the “Allow” button,
The DocuSeer bot for Slack will be automatically added to your workspace and you will see it under your “Apps” in Slack,
Once you have access to the bot for Slack you can prompt it by typing “/docuseer” in the relevant channel and ask a question.
The bot for Slack will then return the most relevant answer to your question using the power of ChatGPT, and include a link to the source document.
All communication between an employee and the bot for Slack is kept private so other employees will not be able to see the questions and answers.
Use the Category tab within the platform to associate specific documents to desired Slack channels. If you have confidential documents that you want to give a subset of employees access to, you can create a private Slack channel and tie it to a channel with the confidential documents.
Our terms of service are documented in our Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Statement of Work (SOW) which will be executed between DocuSeer and it’s customers prior to using the app.
